QUAD CITIES AREA CHILDREN'S FOOD PROGRAM

ABOUT THE Quad Cities Area Children's Food Program

The Quad Cities Area Children’s Food Program (QCACFP) emerged into the greater Illinois Quad Cities in March 2016 after having 13 successful years of operation under the Church of Peace.

QCACFP offers local organizations the opportunity to serve children a healthy snack and meal during the out-of-school hours. These programs can occur during the after-school hours, school breaks, and in day care facilities. The meals are provided to the organizations and children at no cost. All meals are prepared in local kitchens and transported by QCACFP staff to the program sites.

Look for us in the park! At QCACFP we understand that the children in greatest need are not always able to attend the programs provided by our partner agencies. In attempt to ensure that children are not going hungry our staff, volunteers, and program friends visit local parks to serve meals to children in the local community.
